I actually drew this a long time ago, back when ~Ayumi-Fallassion first introduced Gaara and Naruto to each other in the sixth chapter of Fox Leaves, but I had issues with arms and hands, so I set it aside. Found it again after digging through a tall, tall pile of incomplete work.

~KYUUBIVERSE TRIVIA~

The Kyuubi-adopts-Naruto storyline was obviously influenced by a number of things, but first and foremost (for me) was the second chapter of manga called Hotarubi no Mori E by Midorikawa Yuki, in which a boy was taken in by a mountain god and raised by forest youkai... He was allowed to live on one condition: that he would die if he ever came in contact with another human.

Midorikawa has written/drawn a number of works, including the recently animated Natsume Yuujin Chou (which I watch religiously).
There's a demon named Madara in that series (freed by Natsume in the first ep), and I thought, wouldn't it be karma if, at the end of everything, Uchiha Madara was turned into a Bijuu and sealed?
