Cain Hargreaves from Count Cain walking through his estate in England... Either that or those are some funky flames instead of trees. Creepily beautiful, isn't he? XD
I don't like the manga so much, but he's so pretty I figured I'd draw him anyway (yes, I'm shallow). It's a very uncomfortable manga and given that it's by the same author as Angel Sanctuary, that shouldn't be a surprise.
Cain's like a sadistic Sherlock Holmes. Most of the cases he solves ends up with the murderer dead, usually because Cain plays with their minds so much they somehow end up committing suicide. In other words, he kills 'em without getting his hands dirty. O_o
His hobby is collecting and experimenting with poisons, although I'm not sure how accurate some of the facts he spits out are, especially when he starts talking about tartaric acid and antimonial potassium etc. @_@ I prefer garden-variety poisons myself. Like dieffenbachia (still my favorite... its sap makes the tongue and throat tissue swell. I have one potted and growing waist-high beside my desk). Tulips too, come to think of it are---
Don't look for the manga if you can't stand siblings trying to kill each other, lots of gore, blood, insane people, Jack the Ripper, child abuse, incest, necromancy, cannabalism, twisted fairy-tales, people buried alive, abused biblical allusions, trauma, trauma, trauma...

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same. As of recent, the talented =Behana has joined us in bringing you this weekly newsletter and we are excited to have her on board. This is a special feature, with a selection of 50 manips from the past year that we loved.

I haven't read Count Cain yet - I don't think Sakura Crisis has it all done yet, so I'm waiting on it.
